These terms apply to VelocityVet, provided by VelocityVet LLC. By using VelocityVet, whether as a pet owner answering an intake or as staff of a veterinary practice, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information.

What VelocityVet does

VelocityVet helps veterinary practices collect a pet's history before an appointment. It asks the owner questions, records the answers and prepares a draft summary for the veterinary team.

Not veterinary advice

VelocityVet does not diagnose or treat animals and is not a substitute for a veterinarian. Summaries are drafts based on what the owner reports, and the veterinarian makes every clinical decision. If your pet has an emergency, contact your veterinarian or an emergency animal hospital right away.

Text messages

• Program: VelocityVet appointment messages, sent on behalf of your veterinary practice.
• What you'll receive: when your practice schedules or checks in your pet's visit, it may text you a link to complete your pet's intake before the appointment. You receive these messages because you gave your mobile number to the practice for appointment-related communication.
• How often: message frequency varies, usually one message per appointment.
• Cost: message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out: reply STOP to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP for help, or email hello@velocityvet.ai.
• Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Staff accounts

Staff accounts are for the individual staff member. Keep your password private and lock or sign out of shared devices. Sessions end automatically after 12 hours.

Acceptable use

Don't try to access information you aren't authorized to see, interfere with the service, or enter information you don't have the right to share.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed.
